SENIOR MERCHANDISER - LONDON

C. 50 - 55K

Our client business is in start-up mode with huge potential for growth and development, they have recognised the need to recruit a talented team with the skills and aspirations to work in a smaller organisation with the capacity to grow into larger roles and responsibilities.

The business has five sales channels internationally and is a full design business with production being sourced globally and distributed from the UK.  They are recruiting for a Head of Merchandise to be responsible for developing from initial to end of life product cycle. Reporting to the MD and working cross functionally the Head of Merchandise manages the range direction and selection and then trades the season through to end of life.

This role offers an ambitious experienced Merchandiser, used to working with a senior team an excellent opportunity to expand their remit to full accountability, whilst being still operationally involved in the hands-on management of the product cycle.

Senior National Account Manager 
£55 – 70K plus benefits
 Location: Midlands/North
 
Responsible for the commercial development of national accounts 'cradle to grave' working with the category layers inside major grocery retailers, you will build relationships and develop the product proposition from a strong commercial viewpoint. The successful candidate will be fiercely numerate and have bottom line and results in clear focus in everything they do - with success for our client and the customer both having equal importance.
This is not a role where cold calling is needed - the leads are in place and free flowing, its about having great relationship management skills and the commercial vision and nous to be able to develop and consolidate the client base and product offer.

This role is free standing - no big teams to manage, but with extensive relationship and cross functional working.  Far East liaison and other travel is part of the brief - if you have experience of this, great, if not it will be trained......your vision and hunger is more important.

With experience in both branded and white lable range building, strong category management  and grocery market experience you are looking to join a business which is in growth and is currently developing a strong international presence as well as consolidating their UK proposition.

Our client is a fashion forward ‘house of brands’, with a retail and wholesale proposition and is seeking to consolidate some aspects of their business and significantly develop other areas such as their already impressive portfolio of international markets.

Reporting to the FD the Financial Controller manages key aspects of the finance function to manage and optimise the business assets through best practise accounting and control systems, working collaboratively with the senior team to facilitate and optimise business performance.

With a strong & growing wholesale business across multiple international markets and brands this is a complex business and requires a qualified commercial retail finance expert –who is either already in the role and looking for a more challenging opportunity or is perhaps ready for their first number 2 position.
